X-Ray System

X-Ray System

A room-based radiography system that produces diagnostic X-ray images of the chest, bones and joints for hospitals and imaging centres.

Typical use

Radiology departments use systems like this for chest films, fracture checks and follow-up imaging. The X-ray tube, patient table and image receptor are installed together in a shielded room and operated by a trained radiographer.

Before you order

Confirm the room dimensions and shielding, the mains supply, and how images will be captured and stored — film, computed or digital. Ask which components (generator, tube, table, detector) the quotation covers.
