Military Bandage
A military-style emergency bandage: a compression dressing with a pressure bar for controlling severe bleeding in the field.
Typical use
This design combines a sterile pad, an elastic wrap and a pressure bar that is threaded to press the pad down hard onto the wound. It can be applied one-handed and is carried by soldiers, first responders and outdoor teams in trauma kits.
Before you order
Confirm the pad size and wrap length, and that the bandage is vacuum- or hermetically packed to stay sterile. Ask about the packaging tear points, the shelf life and whether training material on applying the pressure bar is available.
