Heated Disposable Breathing Circuit

Heated Disposable Breathing Circuit

A heated disposable breathing circuit that carries warmed, humidified gas between a ventilator and the patient.

Typical use

Ventilated patients need warm, moist gas, because cold dry air dries the airway. A heated circuit keeps the gas at temperature along the tubing and reduces condensation that would otherwise collect in the tubes; it is used with a humidifier in intensive care and theatres.

Before you order

Confirm which ventilators and humidifiers the circuit is compatible with, whether the pack is adult or paediatric, and the connector sizes. Ask about the heater wire, the length, and how many days a circuit may stay in use.
