Disposable Stomach Tube
A disposable stomach tube, a flexible plastic tube passed through the nose or mouth into the stomach for feeding, drainage or washout.
Typical use
Stomach tubes let nurses give liquid feeds or medicine to patients who cannot swallow, drain stomach contents and, in poisoning, wash the stomach out. Tubes usually carry markings along their length so the depth of insertion can be checked.
Before you order
Choose the size (in French gauge) for adults or children, and the length. Confirm the tube is sterile, single-use and packed individually, and ask about the connector type so it fits your syringes and feeding sets.
